Partnerships

We’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some amazing organizations for the betterment of the Lehigh Valley!

Tim Tebow Foundation

Over the last four years, we have worked with this incredible foundation to bring a special needs prom to the Lehigh Valley. The outpouring of community partnerships to pull this off has been powerful to watch. Our main sponsorship of this event has come through the Love Ran Red Foundation. They are doing such an amazing job of walking alongside children who have special needs. Both The Tim Tebow Foundation and Love Ran Red do a great job of providing an overall strategy.

Seven Sirens Brewery

We have worked with them on several community projects to serve the people of the Lehigh Valley like Night To Shine and fighting hunger through packing and delivering meals. We are grateful for the partnership we have with them!

The Bayou Boys

The Bayou Boys have several concepts through the Valley: The Bayou, Whiz Kids, and Queen City BBQ. They have sought to bring flavor to the Valley through tasty food and doing good in the neighborhood. During COVID-19 they partnered with us to feed the hungry. They launched the Stronger Together Campaign to help serve the front line workers and small businesses during this difficult time.  I have had the Bayou Boys on the Vision for The Valley Podcast if you would like to learn more about them.

True Blue Mediterranean Cafe

Ziad is the owner of this cafe in Emmaus, PA and they make amazing food! We have worked together to help the other in our life and leadership. We often see each other at the gym, restaurant and exchange many text messages to encourage one another.

Chris Zang & Associates

I met Chris right after I graduated college and he has been instrumental in my personal growth and development. He has been a leader in the Lehigh Valley for 25+ years, leading his own counseling practice. He is an incredible counselor and helps people to experience healing.

Culture, Ethics, and Justice Coalition

We are a collection of diverse pastors who began meeting in 2017 and ultimately formed a coalition to address systemic injustice and its impact within communities throughout PA/SJ. We are committed to hope and reconciliation throughout the PA/SJ state convention.

New Missions

New Missions is an incredible organization in Haiti and the Dominican republic who, for over 30 years, have established schools, churches, and give job skills and opportunities to the people of these countries. It's been a joy to partner with them and to learn from Tim DeTellis who I met several years ago. We now sponsor a child and have had a chance to visit Haiti and see the good work they are doing. It was a powerful and life changing experience.

Duck Donuts of Allentown

Kelly and Juan are the owners of the Duck Donuts store in Allentown.  Located at 4608 D Broadway in the Tilghman Square shopping center.  Their vision for the Valley is to provide a great customer experience each and every time.  They also enjoy seeing smiles on their customers faces when they taste their warm, delicious, made to order donuts!  In addition, they love to give back to the community by partnering with local organizations.  Please visit us at www.duckdonuts.com and follow them on Facebook!

Baptist Resource Network

BRN seeks to see every church within Pennsylvania/South Jersey
become a healthy multiplying church. When I was looking to start Riverbend, I was introduced to the BRN. They have been such a great partner to work with from our start in 2009 to our present. They have resourced us and walk alongside us so well. The BRN team desires to see accelerated movement happen throughout PA/SJ. Barry Whitworth, the executive director, is a close friend and mentor to me.  I strongly encourage you to link up with them if you are interested in joining a multiplication movement. Learn more about BRN here:

SM Klause Custom Homes

In 2019 my wife had this vision to move into the home her dad built. He had passed in 2011 and we wanted more space and to help care for Amy's mom. This would be a huge renovation project of the whole house. We knew we wanted to use SM Klase Custom Homes because they got the vision and have gone above and beyond for us! I am so grateful to be friends with the owner: Steve Klase.

City Cuts Barbershop

Two years ago my wife was looking for a barbershop to get my son's haircut and we stumbled on City Cuts. They gave my son a great haircut and they have a huge heart for the community. They have a program called Books by Kids, where they have children read as they are getting a haircut to help them overcome the fear of public speaking. This program has gained national attention and we are grateful to partner with them. I have had them on the Vision for the Valley podcast if you want to learn more about them.

Mansion Hope

I have been working with a group of diverse Pastors on a new initiative called Mansion Hope with the goal of serving a community in Philadelphia called Strawberry Mansion. The goal is to provide hope and bring about justice and equality in this neighborhood.

Valley Extrusions

This business is located right by the Riverbend offices and through the years they have worked with us as we have sought to be for the Valley.

Conflict

Brad Modrich and I met each other at LA Fitness a decade ago. He has been a huge cheerleader as I have worked on physical health. He works now to help people to overcome the conflicts they have in their lives. We have been on each other’s podcasts and we love to help others and each other experience personal growth.

Express Employment Agency

Tom and Kris Rooney and the express team have been great partners of ours. We share lessons regarding leadership and they have been generous in sponsoring events we have hosted and have allowed us to use their space as we hosted a variety of groups.

FD Design and FD Market

My friend Jaime Bassett is the owner of FD Design and has been so helpful in our renovation project. People comment on the touches in our home, which she helped us with. We are so grateful for her and the ways she serves her clients and community! Recently she opened up a shop with her daughter, Jacquelyn, in Emmaus. They have products that are good for you, your home, and the planet.

Forge 39

Forge 39 is committed to improving the overall process of construction projects by being flexible and always doing the right thing. We are skilled in conceptual estimating, construction/design recommendations and we provide customer service every step of the way.

Lehigh Valley Cru

Ed and Christy Hanna have been friends and ministry partners with us for the last few years. We are so grateful for how they invest into the lives of college students on campuses throughout the Lehigh Valley. Lehigh Valley Cru is a region-wide network of movements on college campuses around Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, Pennsylvania, where the gospel captures hearts, transforms lives, and launches men and women into a life-long adventure with Christ. They have journeyed with us as we seek to impact the lives of those here in the Lehigh Valley.

Morgan’s: Local Flavor

I met Blake Morgan in 2004 and over the years we have worked together through our life and leadership journeys. We serve on a board together and now we constantly check-in and seek to encourage each other. On top of that, Morgan's has incredible food. I have had Blake on the Vision for the Valley podcast if you would like to hear more about his story.

Chick-fil-A Whitehall

My twin brother is the owner and operator of Chick-fil-A Whitehall. I love his heart for serving his team, customers, and community. We have worked together on events like Night To Shine, Generosity Feeds food packing and Drop Off Party, feeding the hungry during COVID-10 and levering our space to help each other. You can learn more from him on two episodes of the Vision For The Valley podcast.

Generosity Feeds

Mike De Selm shared with us about an opportunity to fight hunger by packing and distributing 10,000 meals in May of 2019. We continue to work together to think through a strategy to best serve and combat hunger in the Valley. You can learn more about them through an interview I conducted on the Vision for the Valley podcast.

Michael Thomas Floral Designs

Kathy and Bill Slane have been friends of mine for many years. I am so grateful for how they have leveraged their gifts and business to love and serve the Valley. They have provided floral arrangements for our special needs prom called Night To Shine and used their work van and time to drop meals we distributed during the COVID-19 crisis.

Local Churches Throughout the Lehigh Valley Region and Beyond

We love the community God has placed us in! We can’t do what we have been called to without this amazing group of churches and leaders. In addition, we work with churches throughout PA and SJ, along with those in other states.

Common Ground Farm & Retreat

This is a beautiful 50-acre farm and retreat center located in Kempton, Pa. They have helped me to pull away and provide a place to slow down. This is a great location to get away, host trainings, connect with others and find common ground.
